Who we are

AidTrack is a resource tracking tool for humanitarian organizations. It is operated by an individual developer. You can reach us at [email protected].

What data we collect

When you register, we collect your email address, your organization name and location, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

When you use the app, we store the resources and categories you create, along with an activity log of changes — who made them and when.

We do not collect analytics, tracking data, or any information beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the service. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or use it for any purpose other than operating AidTrack.

Who has access to your data

The following parties have infrastructure-level access to the systems where your data is stored:

  • Railway — cloud infrastructure provider. Data is hosted in the United States.
  • Resend — email delivery service, used for invite and password reset emails only.
  • GitHub — hosts the private source code repository.
  • The operator — the individual developer who runs AidTrack.

No one else has access to your data.

Data retention

If you request account or organization deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. To request deletion, email [email protected].

Data location

All data is stored in the United States on Railway's infrastructure. If your organization is based in the European Union, please be aware that your data will be transferred to and stored in the US.

Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
